THANK YOU to all our wonderful volunteers!

A NOTE FROM OUR ART TEACHER, Ms. Kerr:

Hi Morse families,
The Morse School Art Show is an amazing annual event that is back for the first time since 2019! We have been lucky to borrow space from the amazing local gallery, Gallery 263, for our school's art show for the last 12 years or so (I've lost count!). If you are unfamiliar, Gallery 263 is located at 263 Pearl St. and hosts many community events in addition to showing local artist work. Putting on a school art show involves many tasks- including hanging the art and taking it down, as well as gallery sitting. Gallery sitting is a great afterschool task (you can bring your kids with you...free wifi!).

Any way that you can help is always very appreciated.

frequently asked questions:

Q1: What is Gallery 263?

A1: Gallery 263 is a local non-profit gallery space. They host art shows, studio space, yoga classes, neighborhood events, and more!

Q2: How long should I spend at the gallery?

A2: To enjoy all the art at the show, plan to spend 20-30 minutes. If you plan to attend the opening reception, any 30 minute window is great - you don't have to be there right at 5 pm.

Q3: When should I visit the show?

A3: If you prefer to come to the gallery during a quiet, calm moment, plan to visit outside of the reception hours. The 2 hour reception tends to be very busy and loud.

Q4: Can I help?

A4: Yes! If you would like to volunteer your time to help make the Morse Art Show a success, please use the link above, or reach out to Ms. Kerr
