Families of students from all grade levels and learning abilities are invited to join us for an upcoming webinar on Thursday, October 16, designed to provide tools and tips for helping to support your student's learning needs.
The webinar will focus on executive functioning for students with advanced learning needs and ways that caregivers can support students in planning, organization, and regulation, so students can manage their schoolwork and daily lives more effectively. Cambridge Public Schools will partner with educational therapist and learning consultant Alexis A. Reid, M.A., to host this webinar.
During the presentation, caregivers will:
Better understand executive function skills, related behaviors, and your role in enhancing learner agency in and outside of the classroom
Practice skills to increase self-regulation and persistence motivation
Determine approaches that best support your child's advanced learning needs
About Alexis A. Reid, M.A.
Alexis is an educational therapist, learning consultant, speaker, podcast co-host, and author who specializes in executive functioning (EF), social emotional learning (SEL), teaching, learning, and human development, as well as designing flexible and accessible learning environments through Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Alexis's goal is to support individuals and systems at the intersections of learning and well-being.
