Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week 2026

Our teachers and staff are OUT OF THIS WORLD! 

Every day, Morse staff are helping our students reach for the stars. To celebrate their dedication, FMS is hosting an "Out of This World" Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week! 

We’re calling on you to power this mission! Whether you have a few minutes to volunteer, can share a delicious dish, or wish to contribute to our mission fundraiser, we welcome your support.

Ways You Can Get Involved

🥗 Infinity and Beyond Buffet--Friday, May 8

The grand finale of Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week will be a potluck lunch for teachers and staff “cratered” by the Morse community. Families are invited to help by sending food, volunteering, or donating flowers.

Please choose one or more ways to help:

Send food for the potluck. Sign up here.

  • The more contributions, the better! 
  • Perishable food (needs refrigeration): drop off Friday by 10:30 AM at the school’s front entrance
  • Nonperishable food: drop off Thursday afternoon or Friday morning by 10:30 AM
  • Please label all food with ingredients and note any common allergens (like nuts, dairy, eggs)

Volunteer at the event. Sign up here.

  • Help us set up the event, serve lunch, or clean up afterwards
  • Volunteer slots last 90 minutes
  • Setup: 8-11 AM
  • Serve lunch: 11 AM-1 PM
  • Cleanup: 1-2:30 PM

Donate flowers. Sign up here.
Flowers will be used as decoration for the event and then given away to staff.

 

 

🥯 Blast Off Breakfast--Monday, May 4 

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week will kick off with a nourishing breakfast, courtesy of Black Sheep Market. 

Volunteer at the event. Email angelika@friendsofmorse.org to volunteer.

  • Help us set up the event, serve breakfast, or clean up afterwards
  • Seeking 2 or 3 volunteers
  • 6:30-9 AM

 

🌟 Mission Appreciation Fundraiser

Help us make this Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week truly "out of this world" by supporting our Mission Appreciation Fundraiser. Every bit helps FMS show our school staff that we appreciate them to the moon and back! Make a donation.


Choose your sponsorship level:

  • $5 – The Rocket Fuel: Sponsor a gourmet coffee/tea to fill our teachers’ tanks.
  • $10 – The Blastoff Breakfast: Send staff into their daily orbit with a full heart and a full plate. 
  • $15 – The Recharge: Sponsor one professional 10-minute massage for Morse staff.
  • $20 – The Supernova: Help us shower the staff with galactic goody bags.
  • $100+ – The Interstellar Icon: Your generosity ensures FMS community programming will continue for light-years to come!
