BONUS! There's a Presidential Primary election on March 5, 2024. FMS will be holding a Bake Sale similar to our usual November Election Day Bake Sales. Read on for info about our last Bake Sale in November, and come visit us on March 5 in the Morse School lobby!

Drop off baked goods on Mon, Mar 4 in the front office during school hours, or at the bake sale table during the event (by 10 am please).

------

The FMS Election Day Bake Sale is not just a fundraiser, it is also a beloved community building event.

The number of Cambridgeport community members who linger by the table to talk with us is like a hug from your favorite stuffie. Some reminisce about when their kids attended Morse and they were the ones behind the bake sale table. Others were former Morse students! We've met alumnus from the 1980s and even the 1960s!

Follow us on Instagram and Facebook (@FriendsOfTheMorseSchool) for posts of happenings throughout the day.

WAYS TO PARTICIPATE

BAKE!

Make and individually seal baked goods in baggies or plastic wrap. Please include a list of ingredients, especially common allergens. Vegan/allergen free items encouraged! Drop off on Monday, Nov 6 at the school front desk between 8 am - 5 pm, or at the table during the bake sale.

If baking isn't an option, store bought baked goods are welcome. Or purchase some fresh fruit (especially larger items like bananas or apples) or a box of coffee that we can offer to folks who aren't interested in a decadent treat.

VOLUNTEER!

Please consider staffing the table for an hour or two...especially on the earlier side between 6-10 am during the morning rush. Since there is no school, let your kids play on the playground while you help! Unfortunately kids are not allowed in the school at all on election day.

I'D LOVE TO HELP, BUT...

...I can't individually wrap the baked goods.

...I don't have baking supplies.

...I need a ride to the school to volunteer.
